I am posting this to expose how Vinted’s customer service actively helps dishonest buyers cheat the system. I have only been using Vinted for about two and a half months, and it has been an absolute joke.Right now, a buyer is trying to scam me out of a high value £120 item that I sold for £20. First, they claimed the item "smelled," and now they keep changing their story. This shifting narrative is a blatant, textbook tactic to trick the system into letting them keep the item for free. Just six weeks ago during my very first month on the app another buyer did the exact same thing to me. That first buyer openly threatened me with a bad review to bypass the rules, Vinted completely ignored the evidence, and the buyer got to keep both the item and the money.Vinted’s own Terms and Conditions clearly state that buyers cannot just make up subjective, changing stories to get free goods. Yet, their automated AI bots and useless support agents push everything in the buyer's direction anyway. They ignore clear proof and side with people who are actively breaking the platform's rules. As a new seller, this is a disgusting introduction to the platform. Vinted needs to look at the message history, enforce their own T&Cs, and stop protecting scammers.
